Project Sprouts: Grow A Garden
Exclusively for Youths in Secondary School
This workshop invites participants to create plants and flowers using pipe cleaners. Participants first reflect on their stress through a mindfulness plant-themed worksheet, then bring their reflections to life by shaping colorful pipe cleaners into a personalized flower. Through this hands-on process, they can express their creativity, explore their emotions, and engage in a mindful, reflective activity.
Learning Objectives:
This course allows participants to:
- Enables participants to express their thoughts, emotions and individuality through crafting their personalized crafts which allows them to reflect and cultivate self-expression.
- Through art and crafts, they are able to experiment with different colors and shapes which stimulate imagination and encourage creative expression.
- Allow participants to unwind and engage in hands on stress-relief activity while creating craft to take home as a lasting reminder of their personal artistry and coping strategies.
