Learn how to map projections onto objects with artists Jake Tan and Ernest Wu! The artists will guide participants to use a single projector to map onto objects and bring them to life to create stunning and captivating visuals. This programme is a valuable opportunity for those interested in creative technology and want to learn the basics of this field.Participants should have <a href="https://derivative.ca/" title="https://derivative.ca/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">TouchDesigner</a> installed. To download free versions of this software, click <a href="https://derivative.ca/download" title="https://derivative.ca/download" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">this</a> link for Windows or Mac. Participants are also encouraged to stay after the workshop to visit the Portals exhibition.This workshop is a programme complementary to Portals, an innovative visual arts exhibition that bridges Singapore's wartime history with creative technology at the Battlebox. This workshop and Portals are programmes of cmd.exe ("command prompt"), a new platform that explores the convergence of heritage and creative technology. The exhibition runs from 28 March to 29 June 2025.
