LOCKING IN: GROOVE & RHYTHM

One of the most crucial qualities of a worship band is that of the team's synergy and togetherness, and this is most observable in the areas of groove and rhythm. In this elective, we aim to define what it means for a worship team to "lock in", unpacking the why, the what, and the how of groove and rhythm.

This elective is for all – including vocalists. We want the awareness of groove and rhythm to be accessible and relevant to every member of the worship team.

You can expect to:
- Discover why it's important to play and sing together – in time
- Understand what defines groove and rhythm
- Take away practical exercises to grow in rhythmic ability and awareness

This elective will be taught by Caleb Kay, supported by the AG Band.
