Question 1

Do I have to be there for the whole 3 hours?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! We'll start giving out puzzle packets from 7pm, but you are free to join at any time! Note that if you're a beginner, it's a good idea to give yourself at least 1.5-2 hours to solve.

Question 2

How many people can a team have?

Accepted Answer

2-8 people, although you are welcome to play as a solo solver! The sweet spot would be about 3-6 in a team.

Question 3

What if I don't have a team?

Accepted Answer

You are more than welcome to solve the puzzles on your own (although we do think it's more fun solving with friends)! Game Control is happy to help you join a team - just indicate when registering, or let us know when you arrive.

Question 4

Puzzles sound hard... can I really take part?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Puzzled Pint puzzles are beginner-friendly, and no experience is required! This is a low pressure, non-competitive event. Game Control will always help if you get stuck, and hints are always free (although we are not averse to bribery). Ultimately, we just want you to have fun!

✨ Pride, satisfaction, and bragging rights! ✨ Puzzled Pint is entirely run by volunteers, and we want to keep it low pressure and non-competitive for everyone of all levels to enjoy!
