The Qixi Festival, also known as the Chinese Valentine’s Day, is a traditional celebration of love that has been cherished for over 2,000 years. Rooted in the romantic folktale of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, the festival embodies themes of devotion, reunion, and togetherness.
This year, we are bringing the Qixi Festival to the heart of Ang Mo Kio at Sprout@AMK, creating a vibrant space where the community can gather and experience this meaningful tradition. Residents can look forward to cultural showcases, festive decorations, and activities that highlights the festival’s rich heritage.
