Overview
2025 saw significant jurisprudence on novel issues arising out of Singapore’s insolvency and restructuring regime, including the appointment of insolvency practitioners, unregistered charges, expungement of proofs of debt, and statutory injunctions sought by liquidators. This session examines these key cases and their implications for practitioners navigating insolvency and restructuring in Singapore.

Bryan Tan is a Director of PK Wong & Nair LLC, and a Partner in Mayer Brown LLP. His main areas of practise are commercial litigation and restructuring & insolvency. Bryan holds degrees in Law and Commerce (Finance) from the University of Melbourne.
He has advised and represented clients in some of the most complex restructuring and insolvency matters, including the scheme of arrangement relating to Antanium Resources Pte Ltd and high-stakes, multi-jurisdictional litigation for Group Lease Holdings Pte Ltd (in Liquidation). Recognised as a Future Star by Benchmark Litigation, Bryan is known for delivering practical, commercially-driven solutions that help clients protect value and navigate the challenges corporations face.
