To draw the curtain on our Ocean summer program, Alliance Française de Singapour and Neill's Jazz Lab are happy to present you Reflections in Blue, a multidisciplinary performance where jazz music, movement, and poetry flow like water itself...🌊 🎷

1. 🎶 Living symphony: Led by award-winning drummer Neill Gautier, with poetic direction by Eric Tinsay Valles (director of the Poetry Festival Singapore), and dance embodiment by powerful choreographer Sudhee Liao, this live performance blends jazz, dance, piano, cello, and poetry, bringing together Singaporean, French and European artists for an ethereal show.
2. 💧 Inspired by the water cycle: the show moves through hidden springs, flowing rivers, storms, oceans and skies, connecting us to the rhythms of nature. This immersive piece invites us to reflect on our connection to nature, often overlooked.
3. 🎭 Spontaneous composition : Like the waters of the ocean, the performance mirrors the unexpected nature of human kind by leaving room for improvisation. The artists respond to one another in real-time, creating a one-of-a-kind experience shaped in the moment.
