Reimagining Former Jurong Bird Park and Jurong Hill Workshop
Overview
About 'Reimagining Former Jurong Bird Park and Jurong Hill' Workshop
The former Jurong Bird Park, Jurong Hill Park and The Village (addressed together as the “Site”) have served as a green refuge in Singapore’s Jurong Industrial Estate since the 1970s, attracting locals and tourists alike. With the relocation of the former bird park to Bird Paradise in Mandai in 2023 and the expected opening of a new Jurong Region Line station on the eastern edge of the Site in 2029, the Site will now have the potential to be transformed into a node for work and play.
As part of the public engagements for the URA Draft Master Plan 2025 (DMP2025), URA, in conjunction with JTC, are organising a workshop to gather insights on the redevelopment of the Site. Join us in reimagining the future of this area that honours Jurong's industrial heritage while embracing its future.
