This special end-of-year session is a soft invitation to pause, breathe, and begin again.
We’ll spend time in nature through forest bathing - slowing down, tuning in to our senses, and letting the natural world support us. We’ll also gently introduce Reiki, a simple energy-based practice that encourages relaxation, grounding, and balance.
You don’t need any prior experience. Just come as you are, and allow yourself to rest in nature’s embrace and the gentle flow of universal energy.
What to expect:
- 15 min Arrival and Intention Setting: We will begin by arriving and setting an intention to release what no longer serves and welcome in what we wish to cultivate for the new year ahead.
- 70 min Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku): We will guide you through simple sensory invitations to connect deeper with nature, at your own pace.
- 15 min Reiki Energy Exchange: We will rest comfortably and receive Reiki energy in a safe, heart-centered circle, supporting balance and grounding.
- 20 min Tea Sharing & Reflection: We will close with quiet reflection, optional sharing, and a soothing cup of tea with light snacks.
This intimate gathering welcomes practitioners or beginners curious about forest bathing and/or Reiki, as well as for those longing for a mindful reset in the midst of life’s changes.
You are welcome to engage at your own pace - whether you come alone or with a companion, all are welcome, just as you are. Every session is unique - shaped by the season, the land, and the stories we each carry.
Meet Your Guides
Amelia Lim
Amelia is your friendly next-door neighbour who finds deep comfort in nature, animals and meaningful human connections. In witnessing the quiet ache of burnout, loss, and caregiving in her healthcare journey, Amelia was drawn to the softer, slower paths of healing and self-care — ones rooted in nature, presence, and compassion. She is a certified Forest Therapy Guide and Usui Reiki Master Teacher, and her offerings are rooted in the belief that even in life’s most tender seasons, nature can gently guide us back to ourselves. When she is not out wandering in nature, she is at home being a proud cat mum to two sassy furkids who think they rule the world.
Melanie Lam
Melanie is the Founder of Healing Skies, a holistic private practice based in Singapore. She is a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and is passionate about the importance of healing, wellness, and supporting others in leading a purposeful life. Melanie had a lot of gripes about nature, such as the heat, bugs and dirt but she has learnt to embrace it all (mostly... sometimes). She is into spirituality and the "woo woo" and is also a Past Life Regression therapist and teaches Reiki energy healing.

The session may include light walking, sitting, or lying on the ground. You’re invited to take part in ways that feel safe and supportive for your body. We’ll also gently work with whatever the weather and land offer that day.
