Founded in 2006, Aidha is an award-winning charity with Institution of Public Character (IPC) status. Aidha offers financial education and self-development programmes such as money management, computer literacy, leadership and entrepreneurial skills for foreign domestic workers and lower-income women. We envision ‘sustainable futures through financial education’ so that every woman has the opportunity to determine her own future.

<DIV>Join Aidha, Aware and HOME for another set of screenings of Remittance film on Thursday, 14th September at 7pm and Sunday, 17th September 2017 at 3pm! <SPAN>Thanks again to the generous support of Mastercard, we are able to offer the screenings for free to all foreign domestic workers.</SPAN></DIV>
<DIV>Remittance is a fictional portrayal of the lives of low-wage migrant workers in Singapore shot with a cast including domestic workers and Aidha alumni. Remittance follows Marie, a woman from the Philippines, as she struggles with her daily life as a foreign domestic worker and tries to balance living for her family versus living for herself. The story explores the transformations Marie goes through as a woman dealing with conflicting obligations and aspirations. </DIV>
