Discover two delicious ways with rice paper!

In this culinary workshop, Chef David Low from Cloud Nine Private Dining will demonstrate how to transform simple rice paper into two mouthwatering dishes. You’ll see how rice paper can be prepared in two distinct ways — one wrapped with prawns and deep-fried until crispy, and another filled with fresh vegetables and pickled mangoes for a light, refreshing bite.

This is a demonstration-based session, so you can sit back and watch—but there’s more! On top of the demo, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a close-up discussion with Chef David, who has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants across the globe, and ask any questions about cooking and culinary techniques. Chef David will also explain the differences between various types of rice paper and fish sauces, sharing tips on which varieties work best for different dishes.

You will get to sample both dishes prepared during the demo, enjoy a complimentary cup of refreshing tea made with herbs, and take home the know-how to recreate them in your own kitchen. Participants can also purchase from a curated selection of rice papers and fish sauces to experiment with at home.

What you will learn:

  • Wrapping prawns with rice paper for a golden, crispy deep-fried dish
  • Creating a fresh and vibrant wrap with vegetables and pickled mangoes
  • Techniques to handle and prepare rice paper with ease
  • Differences between types of rice paper and fish sauces, and how to choose the right one for your dish

2 hrs, SGD$30 per person. Please note that all sales are final, no refunds. TFP members can use 20 points for a 10% discount.
