Overview

Themed ‘Enhancing Collaborations in Built Environment Projects’, the half-day seminar will provide the latest updates, case studies and lessons learnt in project management and legal developments in Singapore and the region’s build ecosystem.

Projects remain at the heart of every organisation that drives change and are one of the key elements in an organisation’s competitiveness and growth. Whether you are working within a client organisation, a consultant or a stakeholder contributing to the delivery of a project, the projects we undertake require us to tackle an ever-widening set of business, process and governance challenges.

From an asset management perspective, a throughout life business model consider the entire lifecycle of
an asset from concept through to operations and end-of-life. The long-term planning requires an integrated
team approach to realize the long-term benefits of an asset.

Throughout the various stages of an asset lifecycle, an advanced level of project management will be
required to make sure things happen in a logical, efficient and effective manner. There are challenges
faced in planning and resourcing to actively manage the timelines and risks on achieving the desired
outcomes at various lifecycle of the asset. Therefore, is collaboration the key to success in today’s context?

As the Built Environment continues in its industry and digital transformation, it is timely to put a greater
focus on Project Management and how the roles of the Project Manager and the project management
discipline are evolving and need to evolve further.

Through thought-provoking discussions, the seminar will provide the latest updates, case studies and
lessons learnt in project management and legal developments in Singapore and the region’s build
ecosystem.
