RV FoRestore is having a tree monitoring session at our reforestation plots in Chestnut Nature Park (CNP)!
We will be checking up on the trees that were previously planted together with Friends of Chestnut Nature Park at some of our plots within CNP. As part of our reforestation efforts, it is important for us to monitor the growth of the planted trees by measuring the diameter at breast height (DBH) of the trees yearly.
Getting there:
Two-way transport (via Grab) will be provided:
- From RVRC: Meet us at 8.00 am at the Block G drop-off point
- From Hillview MRT: Meet us at 8.15 am at the Exit B pick-up point
Alternatively, meet us at 8.30 am directly at Chestnut Nature Park Shelter (next to the carpark, see the pic below)
Attire:
Long pants and covered shoes
Preparation:
- Sunscreen
- Arm sleeves
- A cap/hat
- Insect repellent
The SPA will end by 11.30am on the site.
* In the event of wet weather, the event may be canceled for safety reasons and we will contact you through Telegram or WhatsApp around/before 8am on the day itself.
** Photographs taken during the event may be used for RV FoRestore outreach and publicity.
