Scented Epoxy Resin Lamp Making

This is a one-of-a-kind unique workshop that incorporates the beautiful art of resin lamp making with the art of perfume making. You learn two artsy-fartsy skills on a single session.

This is one of the most bespoke and meaningful gifts you can create as a surprise gift, for anniversaries, Hen's night, birthdays, weddings, baby showers and much more.

Workshop Outline:

Part I

(1) Our "Artista" would brief you on the materials provided for the epoxy resin portion of the workshop session and how to use them.

(2) You will then work on your intention and design for your resin lamp design - selecting colors, the wide variety of ornaments you wish to use (preserved flowers, stones, corals, sand, mini figurines etc.)

(3) Our "Artista" will then guide you on how to do colour mixing to create different kinds of effects, texturing for a more innovative resin lamp design and putting all your art together into the mold provided.

Part II

(1) Our "Artista" transforms into a "Scent Engineer" now guiding you on some history and fun facts about perfume making and fragrances.

(2) You will learn about the evaporation triangle and the art of perfume making using the top, middle and base notes.

(3) You will get to smell a over 20 different unique fragrances and learn how to pair them to create a scent to incorporate into your resin mixture.

Part III

(1) You will now incorporate your finished scent into your resin mixture(s) before fixating them into the mold (with the ornaments and materials already in place in your given mold).

(2) Ta-dah! And it's done! Now you simply wait for your scented resin lamp to cure (about 24 to 48 hours) and we will clean it up, polish it and attach the LED base to it.

Points to take note:

It could take up to 24 to 48 hours for resin to cure. You may choose to pick up your artwork on another free day. Alternatively, you may opt for delivery for $10.It is recommended that you collect your art within a week as we will not be liable for any damages to your art due to prolonged storage.

Size of your finished lamp is around 250g (8 by 8 by 8cm including base).
