Program Objective

This workshop equips students with a comprehensive understanding of current interview formats and expectations used in scholarship and tertiary admission interviews. Through guided exposure to real interview examples, scenario-based exercises, and video interview practice, participants learn to analyse question types, structure thoughtful responses, and communicate with clarity and confidence. Emphasis is placed on developing both strategy and self-awareness — helping students understand what interviewers value, recognise the difference between standard and strong answers, and apply these insights across diverse interview contexts.

Trainer

This workshop will be run by Discovering Potential's founder, Siew Ling Hwang, who has extensive experience training students in the areas of Interview and Communication Skills. Siew Ling has coached candidates for various scholarships including scholarships by PSC, SAF, MOE, MHA, MCI, MINDEF, MPA, MOH, SIA, CAG as well as scholarships and entrance interviews into courses in NUS, NTU, SMU and SUSS. She has also conducted and designed various workshops with many schools in Singapore. Siew Ling is an Interview and Career Coach, and she is a Certified Advanced Behavioural & Career Consultant, as well as a Certified Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Existing and graduated Junior College , ITE and Polytechnic Students. Upper Secondary students are welcomed to join in.

$320 per participant (workshop fees are not refundable but may be transferred to another participant). Only the registered participant may attend, parents and guardians are not permitted in the workshop.
