Humans are “wired” for stories! Stories provide an appealing way to slip ideas in under the radar of people who fear or distrust science -- as well as a very effective way to teach. PhD biologist/storyteller Fran Stallings will teach you to recognize the story elements that work in time-tested folk tales. She’ll show how to apply these elements to craft science information into "fact-tales" that make complicated ideas easy to remember and help listeners see meaning in masses of facts, while sharing your love of the natural world.
