This event is for Youth Club Members between the ages of 11 and 18 years old.

Scrapbook Journaling is more than just an art workshop - it's a doorway to preserving your memories and expressing your creativity. This activity combines the reflective nature of journaling with the vibrant art of scrapbooking. It promises to offer a wide variety of techniques, materials and inspiration to allow you to create a memorable journal. Prepare to keepsake your story and celebrate your personal journey for the year!

Objectives:

1. Explore your creativity and connect with your emotions through scrapbooking

2. Learn the journaling process to improve goal-setting and organisational skills


Things to note:

All materials will be provided. Participants may also bring their own decorative items (e.g. stickers, embellishment, photos) to customise their journals.

Trainer bio:

Xu Jie is a former intern with Brahm Centre. His passion for art and journaling is deeply personal and profoundly connected to his experiences working with seniors during his internship. After seeing and experiencing the therapeutic benefits of art and mindfulness, Xu Jie became committed to sharing these benefits with others. He sees art and journaling as not just as a hobby, but a vital means of self-expression and mental well-being.

We have worked with healthcare agencies, schools and corporations to equip employees, parents and students with mindfulness tools to help them stay physically and mentally well. 

 

Course graduates may enhance their practice by joining our weekly mindfulness clubs. Furthermore there are free regular health talks conducted by healthcare professionals and qualified speakers open to the public.

 

Launched in 2012 as a charity that aims to promote happier and healthier living, Brahm Centre is a full member of the National Council of Social Services and an Institution of Public Character.

Please note that all course registrations are NON-refundable. Transfer of selected mindfulness courses is subject to a $30 transfer fee and a $10 admin fee for a mindfulness make-up class. There are NO transfers or make-up classes available for all other courses.
