Class Outline:

• Learn about programming concepts such as sequence, data variables, loops and conditions by coding a fun language translator app!
• Suitable for kids age 9 to 12, the ScratchThinker Programming Series introduces kids to programming concepts and guides them to create fun, byte-sized projects that they can show their friends and family.
• In this class, students will learn to use the Text-To-Speech (from Amazon Web Services) and the Google Translate extensions

• Ages 9 to 12 years old
• No prior programming experience needed, recommended for Beginners

Computer Requirements:

• CPU: Intel Core i3-3210 3.2 GHz / AMD A8-7600 APU 3.1 GHz or equivalent,
• RAM: 4GB
• A working web camera with microphone
• Good internet connection

Ans: Please make sure that your child has a working computer or laptop (Recommended system - CPU: Intel Core i3-3210 3.2 GHz / AMD A8-7600 APU 3.1 GHz or equivalent, RAM: 2GB), with a strong internet connection, and a working web camera.

Qn: Do I need to pay for this class?

Ans: No! This class is free and in support of #SmartNationTogether, an online channel featuring tech-related talks and workshops for children and young parents, working adults and seniors.
