Seagrasses and Slippers is part of an ocean conservsations series held in Get Some, a neighbourhood bar, creating a social space for marine conservationists, ocean enthusiasts, and the local community to connect over conversations about ocean conservation. This programme raises awareness of pressing marine conservation issues while spotlighting meaningful and innovative initiatives that are making waves across the region. By providing an engaging platform, the event fosters meaningful discussions, inspires action, and brings together like-minded individuals.

Held quarterly, each session runs for two hours, featuring a 45-minute quiz-based marine conservation talk, followed by a Q&A and networking/chatting all night. Proceeds from the event will directly support Our Blue Spaces’ regional marine conservation efforts, including reef cleanups, youth capacity-building programs, and fishermen-led habitat restoration initiatives.
