Event description
A 2-hour workshop on the entry phase of the community journey to discover ways to improve onboarding processes in your communities.

About this event

"What are the gaps in onboarding members in my community?"
"How can I set new members up for success in joining my community?"
"How can we do better in ensuring our new members have a smooth transition into the community?"
"How are others onboarding their communities?"

For many, entry into a new community may be a smooth process, but for others, it may be more complicated. Every community and each member’s journey through them is unique.

Join NVPC’s Community Matters Team and our 3 speakers representing a diversity of communities, as we take a deep dive into the onboarding process and its importance in shaping the community experience.

In this 2-hour workshop, you will

  • Understand the importance of the onboarding process in ensuring future engagement and retention of new community members,
  • Reflect on your community’s unique onboarding processes,
  • Exchange ideas on how to improve onboarding,
  • Address challenges faced in onboarding members,
  • Enjoy a safe space to reflect, share with, and learn from fellow community leaders!

We look forward to seeing you there!
