As climate change intensifies, Asia’s agricultural systems face mounting pressure from rising temperatures, erratic rainfall, and shifting growing seasons. This event, co-organised by the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and WOMAG, will bring together industry experts and innovators to explore the development and deployment of climate-resilient crops that can thrive in these changing conditions.

This event will showcase real-world success stories from across the region and cross-sector collaboration to ensure food security and sustainable livelihoods. From methane-resistant and salt-tolerant rice varieties to drought-resistant millet, discover how Asia is sowing resilience for generations to come.

Kim Cygler joined Mandala Capital in 2024 as part of the investment team and investor relations.She was previously working in a Series A startup as a Strategy Associate and Investor Relations. Prior to that, she was working in an early-stage Venture Capital in Singapore.Kim Cygler graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Master in Management following her completion from a double diploma of Bachelor of Finance and International Business at McGill University in Canada.

He also develops growth strategies, sustainable bar programmes, food forests, and climate-adaptive spaces for his hospitality clients. When he isn't engaged with all of the above, he makes custom low-waste zero-abv drinks, hosts sustainability pub quizzes, and moderates panels for various sustainability communities in Singapore and beyond.
