Sessions are hosted by Julia Ng and Sim Wei Ping, Professional Certified Coaches with 26 years of coaching experience and more than 4,200 coaching hours combined. Our guest speakers and workshop leaders are highly developed individuals in their fields. We are continually looking to grow our pool of masters, speakers and workshop leaders who wish to collaborate on this platform and make a difference to the wider world.

In this session, get to know your Inner Critic and how to work with it instead of pushing it away.

Do you constantly feel lousy about yourself, or feel frustrated that you cannot get things right? Do you blame yourself for making that mistake that you shouldn’t have made and, as a result, hesitate interacting with people because you don’t feel confident about yourself? Is it difficult to make a decision because you are afraid you would get it wrong? Or do you keep fiddling with the last detail in order to get it perfect but nothing ever gets done?If this sounds familiar, chances are your Inner Critic is replaying bad things that have happened to you, creating relentless negative chatter about yourself. Trying to quiet the inner self talk is easier said than done. No matter how many times you tell it to shut up, recite positive mantras or affirmations, stick reminders on your wall or meditate, it’s a matter of time before that voice in your head comes back.So, what can you do?Most methods of trying to conquer your Inner Critic don’t work because you ignore that this Inner Critic actually has something valuable to say, and perhaps it&#x27;s a matter of to what degree you heed its voice and when you ignore it. Wouldn’t it be great to use your Inner Critic to do what you want in life rather than indulge in destructive, paralyzing cycles?In this session, get to know your Inner Critic and how to work with it instead of pushing it away. Understand how this Inner Critic is a part of you and learn to embrace it to work with you rather than relate to it as your enemy. Use your Inner Critic to forward you and recognize the creative power it brings to your life.What you will gain through this 2-hour session:- Understand where your Inner Critic comes from- Uncover who your Inner Critic really is- Create an action plan that allows you to work with your Inner Critic- Be able to love yourself for who you really are
