About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours 30 minutes

What does modern networking really look like - across genders, generations, and cultures?

At the SGC Forum: Accelerate (HER) – Reality Check: The Power of Cooperation and Networking, we take a fresh, honest look at how professional networks are built today — and who might still be left out.

While opportunities have grown, challenges remain - Women, younger professionals, and international talent are still underrepresented in many networks. At the same time, networking itself is evolving — driven by digital platforms, new expectations, and changing workplace cultures.

Organised by the SGC Women in Business Committee and the SGC Young Professional Network, the event offers an afternoon and evening of meaningful exchange and forward-thinking dialogue on the evolution of networking - and how we can make it more inclusive and effective.

Topics include:

  • Gendered networking behaviours and expectations
  • Generational preferences from Gen Z to Baby Boomers
  • Intercultural dynamics in building business relationships
  • Hybrid and digital networking models
  • Building trust and sustainable connections
  • Cross-group learnings and best practices

The forum brings together experts and professionals from both Singapore and Germany and offers insightful keynotes, a panel discussion, Q&A session and valuable networking opportunities with drinks and canapés at the Andaz Singapore Hotel.

We would like to sincerely thank our venue sponsor, Andaz Singapore, for supporting the SGC Forum.
