About the Book |

Singapore’s Dawn: Stories of Our Firsts features 60 key artefacts and over 100 supplementary pieces that trace Singapore’s remarkable journey from colony to modern nation.
Created for SG60, this book showcases pivotal moments in diplomacy, governance, social reform, and economic transformation — each artefact revealing a unique perspective on the nation’s resilience and creativity.

More than a record of history, it is an invitation for history enthusiasts, educators, students, and collectors to rediscover Singapore’s identity through the artefacts that shaped its legacy.
