Overview

This workshop helps SME owners and Business Development managers of SMEs to take structural steps in piloting innovative concepts for new growth. 3 key success factors are discussed in this accelerator programme: beachhead strategy, elevator pitch and execution. Beachhead strategy is about continuous hitting on ones that generate revenue quickly without further bleeding. Elevator pitch is accelerating the communication of USPs (unique selling points) to different stakeholders, including fundraising. Execution will be discussed using the methodology of RACI (responsibility, accountability, consulted and informed).

Learning Outcome

Three-hour session workshop with facilitated discussion on: beachhead strategy, elevator pitching and execution using RACI (responsibility, accountability, confirmed and informed). Audiences are encouraged to engage in the discussion with thought-provocative ideas and hand-on practices.

About The Speaker

Woei Fuh is the General Manager of Consulting for IES (Innovative Education Services), a regional academic consulting firm based in Singapore. Prior to that, he worked in Thomson Reuters for 10 years involving in the business of Intellectual Properties & Science for Asia Pacific region. His consultancy work focuses in three areas: Research Excellence, Innovation Outreach and Competency of Future Professionals. He holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Science & Technology from the University of Manchester, UK, and MBA from Louisville University, Kentucky, USA.
