Tired of hearing the same sleep advice that never works?
About this workshop
Sleep problems are among the most common concerns raised by families of autistic children. Difficulties with sleep onset, night waking, circadian rhythm, and co-occurring anxiety or sensory sensitivities can make sleep uniquely complex for these children. Standard behavioural or medical approaches often fall short and require adaptation to meet the needs of autistic children and their families.
This workshop is designed for professionals who already have a working knowledge of paediatric sleep (e.g. psychologists, paediatricians, sleep consultants, occupational therapists, and allied health clinicians) who want to extend their expertise to autism-specific contexts. The focus will be on practical, case-based learning, with opportunities to share experiences and workshop real-world clinical challenges.
