Topic: Project Citizens: The First Million - Seniors Engagement Programme
Project Citizens – The First Million senior engagement programme aims to capture stories of Singapore’s founding generation of citizens. The programme will comprise of volunteer-facilitated activities to guide seniors in sharing and documenting their stories for the Founders’ Memorial. The programme seeks to recognise seniors' contributions to nation-building while helping younger Singaporeans understand their heritage and reflect on values like multiculturalism and resilience that shaped the nation. Selected stories will also be featured at various Founders’ Memorial platforms in the lead-up to and upon its opening in 2028.
