About the Programme

There are many causes of snoring with or without obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). Learn about the diagnosis and the identifying of the different causes and how best to treat them. Among the many treatment alternatives are oral devices. Discover how oral devices when worn on teeth or over the tongue can improve breathing during sleep by stretching and enlarging the airway.

About the Speaker:

Dr Mimi Yow

BDS (Singapore); FDSRCS (Edinburgh); MSc (London); PhD (Karolinska); FAMS (Orthodontics); FAMS (Sleep Medicine)

Dr Yow is the Director of Clinical Services at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Disease Centre (SDDC) for Sleep and a Senior Consultant at National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) and SingHealth Duke-NUS Sleep Centre. She is an active practitioner of team-based multidisciplinary patient-care in Cleft and Craniofacial Anomalies, Dentofacial Deformities and Sleep Disorders.
