About this event

  • 8 hours

Amid the shifting social landscape, how can we bring the best insights and experiences from across industries and regions to enhance the way we uplift communities? Allkin Singapore, Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), and Ewha Womans University are proud to jointly-organise the Social Work Academia-Practice Symposium (SWAPS), which will be graced by Guest-of-Honour Minister Masagos Zulkifli, Minister of Social & Family Development.

Formerly known as the AMKFSC-SUSS Symposium, the biennial symposium will take on a permanent new name. Themed “Adaptive Capacity Building: Responding to Shifting Landscapes in Social Work Practices”, SWAPS 2024 will bring together the best minds from social work academia and professional practice to share insights on effectively adapting to societal shifts, cultivate resilience and reducing vulnerabilities, collaboratively tackle challenges faced by professionals, and explore innovative strategies to enhance their capabilities.
