Spring Easter Edition: Sound Bath In Nature + Forest Bathing

Have you ever ‘bathed’ in a forest before? Being surrounded by a medley of sounds: birds chirping, insects humming, the wind rustling the tree leaves…

Using this natural backdrop of forest sounds and sights, we are going to have a walk in the forest, opening our senses to all that is around us. Using our breath, we smell the forest too, expanding our sensory perceptions and being mindful of the present moment.

We will start the morning with an outdoor sound bath in the middle of the forest. Let the sound waves from our music soothe and refresh your body, mind, spirit and soul. After a relaxing sound journey, we will continue with the forest bath. Connecting with nature, in a mindful way, walking in silence, observing the surroundings and engaging with our senses. You will feel refreshed and energised, ready for the week ahead :)

This workshop is facilitated by Adelynn and Shi Min.

Adelynn (@adelynnshanlee), a multi-instrument sound artist, and Shinrin Yoku guide. Playing the Native American flutes and medicine drums in nature brings her joy. She believes that music is healing, it is transformative and inspiring, if you listen with an open heart.

Shi Min (@wavesofpleasuresg), a multi-instrument sound healing and Tantra massage practitioner, with a focus on deepening heart connections with love and intimacy. An ocean lover, she loves the simple pleasures of life, and enjoys sharing the beauty of life with people.

Location: Pasir Ris Mangrove Park (exact details will be shared upon registration)

Tickets: Sound bath $66, top up for forest bathing at $28 (after sound bath) (minimum 5pax to commence)

​Things to wear/ bring:

- Comfortable attire

- Water

- Yoga mat

- Face towel to clean yourself from sweat

- Umbrella/raincoat (nature walk will proceed in light rain)

- Cap/hat & sunglasses (optional)

- Eye mask/extra face towel for comfort during sound bath (optional)



Note:

1. There will be no refund once payment is made. If you couldn’t make it on that day, you may transfer it to a friend.



​2. We will check the weather 2hours before. If the weather condition is unsafe to conduct the activity, the event will be cancelled/postponed. We will inform you an hour before the meeting time.

COVID-19 restrictions and safety measures

Participants are required to:

1. Wear your masks (optional)

2. Check-in and check out with SafeEntry at the venue.

3. Take temperatures before the tour starts. Anyone with a temperature higher than 38 degrees Celsius and/or showing symptoms including cough, runny nose, breathlessness will not be allowed to join and/or continue with the tour.

4. Maintain safe distancing from each other at all times (if you are not wearing mask)
