The Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) has invited renowned Hollywood orchestrator and conductor Tim Davies to conduct a two half-day orchestration workshop on 21 &amp; 22 January 2020.Observe and learn as Tim Davies and our 8 selected candidates delve into Ravel&#x27;s Le Gibet, cues from the Trollhunters movie, as well as a dialogue and Q&amp;A.<ul><li>21 January</li></ul>2:30pm - 4:30pm: Workshop - Le Gibet (with break)4:45pm - 5:30pm: Dialogue and Q&amp;A (Topic: Learning the craft of composition)<ul><li>22 January</li></ul>2:30pm - 4:30pm: Workshop - Trollhunters&#x27; cues (with break)4:45pm - 5:30pm: Dialogue and Q&amp;A (Topic: The business of orchestration in the Hollywood film industry)---Admission AdviceRating/ Age Limit<ul><li>Children must be age 7 and above to be admitted into the hall.</li><li>Children under 7 will not be admitted into the hall, even with a ticket.</li><li>Please bring along proof of child’s age, such as a student concession pass, as random checks may be conducted at the venue.</li><li>Parents or guardians of children admitted are strongly encouraged to select aisle seats.</li><li>We reserve the right to ask parents to bring children out of the hall should they be disruptive during the talk.</li><li>No admission without registration.</li></ul>Late Seating<ul><li>You are strongly advised to be seated 15 minutes before the talk&#x27;s start time.</li><li>Latecomers will only be admitted at appropriate pauses during the talk, if any.</li></ul>Photography/ Video Recording Rules<ul><li>Non-flash photography is allowed. No photography when artistes are performing.</li><li>Unauthorised video recordings are strictly not allowed.</li></ul>Photographs and videos will be taken at the event in which you may appear. Such photographs and videos may be displayed or published on SSG’s website, social media platforms, publications and publicity materials. By attending the event, you consent to the use of these photographs and videos for the foregoing purposes.
