Standard First Aid with CPR and AED - Refresher Course This course prepares individuals for the role of being a first aider, with the necessary skills in identifying, planning and managing an emergency situation. It equips individuals with the basic information and knowledge on common accidents, medical emergencies, illnesses, injuries and its causes. The aim of the course is to train individuals to render first aid to common accidents, its related injuries and medical emergencies.

Upon successful completion of course, a certification with 2 years validity will be issued.

Who Should Attend?

Any individuals with interest in first aid. Good for the general public, homes, schools, offices and communities. Must be physically fit and able to render help to another individual during an emergency.

Course Content

The participants should achieve the following competencies upon completion of the course:

• Duties and Responsibilities of a First Aider
• Handling and Transportation of the Injured
• Unconsciousness
• Circulation and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation and AED
• Circulatory System, Wounds, Bleeding and Shock
• Poisons, Bites and Stings
• Bones, Joints, Muscle Injuries
• Burn Injuries
• Respiratory Choking and Breathing Difficulties

Time: 9.00am to 6.00pm ( 2 days)

Entry Requirement: Current Standard First Aid with CPR and AED certificate is still valid

Course Fees: S$150 per pax (all inclusive)

Course Funding: Skills Development Fund up to 95% (Only Singaporean and PR), Skills Future Credit up to $500 (Only Singaporean)

Accreditation: Standard First Aid with CPR and AED Certificate (2 years validity) accredited by Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) upon successful completion of course and assessment.

Are there requirements to enter the event?

Minimum age: 12 years old above.

Re-requisites: Must be medically fit with no pre-exisiting medical conditions such as knee, spinal, joint injury. Please consult your doctor before attending the course.
