Startup Demo Day

This demo day is co-organised by NUS Enterprise and Advantage Austria.

As part of Advantage Austria's GoSingapore 2019 programme, 4 start-ups were selected from Austria to land in Singapore and validate their start-up offering here in South East Asia. They are encouraged to use Singapore a test bed for expansion regionally within SEA.

After 8 weeks of mentorship, networking with startups and getting feedback from government agencies and corporations. These startups, along side, NUS Enterprises startups are ready to pitch for funding for investments.

Kompany (GoSingapore2019)

With 360kompany, regulated companies can audit proof their business KYC process, reduce their KYC costs and serve their customers more rapidly. kompany provides real-time access to audit-proof commercial register data, including company filings covering more than 100 million companies in 150+ jurisdictions for customer onboarding (KYC), anti-money laundering (AML), enhanced due diligence (EDD) and ongoing compliance processes. kompany is a government clearing house and an official distributor of the European Business Register and local commercial registers worldwide.

Moonvision (GoSingapore2019)

MoonVision enables Visual Object Inspection solutions with Artificial Intelligence. The solution is automated defect detection in production facilities, automated food and product detection at the paydesk in shops.

Autowealth (NUS Enterprise)

AutoWealth is one of the earliest and most established robo-advisory platform in SEA. Between May 2016 and Jun 2019 (38 Months), its automated investment algorithm has achieved 21.1% cumulative returns net of fees on a globally diversified portfolio of 60% stocks / 40% gov. bonds. The returns outperformed all comparable unit trusts available in Singapore over the same period.

Since opening the platform to retail investors 2 years ago, its services are loved by a few thousand clients in the region and it is entrusted with tens of millions in AUM. Its B2B2C pension scheme, launched 4 months ago, has also received commitments from 2 MNCs of Fortune 500 fame. AutoWealth has also received an in-principle approval from Securities Commission pending fulfilment of capital requirements.

AutoWealth is seeking funds to scale up its proven business model in Singapore and Malaysia to further disrupt the wealth management industry in SEA.
