EPC Training is a provider of ENGINEERING PLUS CODING and computational & design thinking programmes for primary, secondary and tertiary students in Singapore.Our classes are designed to escape the mundane learning process instead and have an enjoyable one. Aims to be fun and gamified to keep the young mind engaged.Coding for kids might seem like an impossible endeavour, right ? A lot like learning an entirely new language. However difficult it might seem for a young brain learning something seemingly complex, coding for kids is reality -  thanks to EPC Education.While programming is logic-based, it’s also an extremely creative activity. If you know how to code, you can develop the aforementioned apps, video games, websites and more !  Many students aren’t receiving valuable instruction in subjects like coding with their everyday schooling. Through this STEAM Training, we are in hopes they would leave the training with new skills, deeper knowledge, and the confidence to go out and do something impactful with what they have learned.

We are a provider of ENGINEERING PLUS CODING and computational &amp; design thinking programmes for primary, secondary and tertiary students in Singapore.</p><p>We have various customised activities every month for the year of 2021! Each activity is 1 hour long, and there are 5 different time slot for you to choose from!</p><p></p><h3>January 2021</h3><p><strong>Activity: Simple Robotics for Beginner</strong></p><p>Description: Celebrate the New Year by learning how vehicles can be powered to move and also how you can make your own Remote Controlled Robotic Vehicle!</p><p></p><h3>February 2021</h3><p><strong>Activity: Cardboard Games</strong></p><p>Description: Have fun with relatives and friends playing with this classic pop-up game. It is light and portable and you can bring it along with you wherever you go!</p><p></p><h3>March 2021</h3><p><strong>Activity: Stop Motion Videos</strong></p><p>Description: Enjoy quality parent-child time making stop motion videos with our cute dinosaur friends. Learn all about dinosaurs and their bone anatomy. Do more stop motion videos with your toys at home!</p><p></p><h3>April 2021</h3><p><strong>Activity: Cardboard Making</strong></p><p>Description: Summer is coming! Learn about science while doing a DIY cardboard handheld fan. Comes with motor and batteries. Bring it home and enjoy cool wind wherever you go!</p><p></p><h3>May 2021</h3><p><strong>Activity: Simple Engineering</strong></p><p>Description: Design and make your own straw designs. Learn how to build and customise your own catapult to shoot table-tennis balls. Bring it home to play with your friends!</p><p>*Bonus: We will show you how we can add in coding and programming to make an engineering project come alive!</p><p></p><h3>June 2021</h3><p><strong>Activity: Electronics for Beginners</strong></p><p>Description: Learn and create your first electronic circuit. Using just conductive tapes and simple components, you will be able to pick up the concepts very easily. </p>

<p>In today’s world, people need to have strong creative and critical thinking skills that will allow the ability to solve real world issues in an effective manner. But the current standard systems of education do not adequately develop such skills in students. We hope through these short, interesting and educational workshops, your kids will be able to experience important skills such as Computational Thinking, Design Thinking and 21st Century Competencies. </p><p>In STEAM Education, children are taught exactly in the manner in which they will be using their knowledge and skills in the professional world, in the future. </p><p></p><h3>What is STEAM Education?</h3><p>STEAM stands for “Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.” In a nutshell, STEAM Education is an effective and integrated approach to learning and education that allows kids to have strong critical thinking skills that allows them the ability to tackle real-world problems in an efficient manner.
