Looking for educational activities for your kids? Bring them to us at EPC’s STEAM Education! We are a provider of ENGINEERING PLUS CODING and computational & design thinking programmes for primary, secondary and tertiary students in Singapore.

We have various customised activities every month for the year of 2021! Each activity is 1 hour long, and there are 5 different time slot for you to choose from!

January 2021

Activity: Simple Robotics for Beginner

Description: Celebrate the New Year by learning how vehicles can be powered to move and also how you can make your own Remote Controlled Robotic Vehicle!

February 2021

Activity: Cardboard Games

Description: Have fun with relatives and friends playing with this classic pop-up game. It is light and portable and you can bring it along with you wherever you go!

March 2021

Activity: Stop Motion Videos

Description: Enjoy quality parent-child time making stop motion videos with our cute dinosaur friends. Learn all about dinosaurs and their bone anatomy. Do more stop motion videos with your toys at home!

April 2021

Activity: Cardboard Making

Description: Summer is coming! Learn about science while doing a DIY cardboard handheld fan. Comes with motor and batteries. Bring it home and enjoy cool wind wherever you go!

May 2021

Activity: Simple Engineering

Description: Design and make your own straw designs. Learn how to build and customise your own catapult to shoot table-tennis balls. Bring it home to play with your friends!

*Bonus: We will show you how we can add in coding and programming to make an engineering project come alive!

June 2021

Activity: Electronics for Beginners

Description: Learn and create your first electronic circuit. Using just conductive tapes and simple components, you will be able to pick up the concepts very easily.

In today’s world, people need to have strong creative and critical thinking skills that will allow the ability to solve real world issues in an effective manner. But the current standard systems of education do not adequately develop such skills in students. We hope through these short, interesting and educational workshops, your kids will be able to experience important skills such as Computational Thinking, Design Thinking and 21st Century Competencies.

In STEAM Education, children are taught exactly in the manner in which they will be using their knowledge and skills in the professional world, in the future.

What is STEAM Education?

STEAM stands for “Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.” In a nutshell, STEAM Education is an effective and integrated approach to learning and education that allows kids to have strong critical thinking skills that allows them the ability to tackle real-world problems in an efficient manner.
