Story-Drumming is an inspiring musical session led by Singaporean drummer, educator, and entrepreneur Chow Kiat, where rhythm becomes the vehicle for storytelling.

Through live drumming performances, Chow Kiat shares key milestones from his journey as a professional musician — the challenges, turning points, and breakthroughs that shaped his path. Beyond performance, he offers insights drawn from building Drum Tutor into a five-outlet drumming school, touring internationally with artists such as Angela Chang and Mateus Asato, and balancing artistry with leadership and entrepreneurship.

A graduate of LASALLE College of the Arts and Musicians Institute (USA), and recipient of the Outstanding Student Award and SkillsFuture Fellowship, Chow Kiat brings both musical depth and educational clarity to the session.

Presented in collaboration with TAMA Drums and Swee Lee, this workshop blends performance and practical learning — leaving participants not only inspired by powerful drumming, but equipped with tools and perspectives they can apply to their own musical journeys.
