You may recall the movements if you mastered them when you were younger, or you are a complete beginner and just looking for a starter conversation (yes, there is not a need to knit or crochet - just come be present).
All are welcome, some materials are available onsite but feel free to bring your needles & yarn!

About Stranger Encounters 2025: A one-day assembly of interactive creative experiences.
Community development is at the heart of Stranger Encounters.
Set in the historic art hub of Pearl’s Hill Terrace, this one-day gathering blends participatory theatre, immersive art, and shared experiences that spark social connection.
Arrive as strangers, and through a series of creative sessions — spanning movement, storytelling, dance, music, technology, and ritual — and leave having shared moments of curiosity, laughter, and trust.
What begins as an encounter becomes a community.
Each session is designed as a doorway into connection: with yourself, with others, and with the vibrant creative community that calls Pearl’s Hill Terrace home.
