About the course

This course aims to develop participant’s understanding of what is sustainability and ESG, update participants on current global sustainability standards and frameworks and provide case studies to help get started on their sustainability journey. About the Trainer

Shi Mei is an Environmental Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in the construction, IT infrastructure and operations sector. With background in environmental compliance, system set up and implementation, she guides companies to attain environmental sustainability through identifying gaps and improvement potential in their operating systems. She is ISO14001 lead auditor certified since 2013 and has audited wide varieties of environmental management systems while also setting up environmental frameworks and helping companies integrate and transit into ISO14001. Her compliance experience in other Asia regions (namely Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand) and project collaborations with cross functional international stakeholders gives her a unique insight to how companies can adapt environmental sustainability strategies into different countries and cultures, thus improving their sustainability journey and portfolio. She holds a B.Eng. in Environmental Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS).
