This workshop aims to equip SMEs with fundamental concepts of sustainable development goals (SDG) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria, convey the rationale behind sustainability reporting, and provide practical and actionable insights for SMEs to kickstart their sustainability journey.

The session will also touch on the Future-Fit Business Benchmark, which translates the United Nation’s 17 SDGs into practical action plans, and addresses succession planning as a key pillar of business sustainability. It will look into leadership transition, risk management, and value enhancement as essential areas to build a resilient, future-ready business. Attendees will engage in interactive discussions, self-assessments, and hands-on exercises to develop sustainable strategies that ensure long-term business continuity.

The session will conclude with an overview of government resources and support schemes available for sustainability initiatives so that SMEs will be empowered to make sustainability a core part of their business strategy.
