Smt. Malini Awasthi, Padma Shri awardee and leading Hindustani classical and folk vocalist, trained under Padma Vibhushan Girija Devi and Ustad Rahat Ali Khan. She is a top-grade All India Radio artist and a foremost exponent of the Banaras gharana’s "four-pat" style.
Pandit Dharamnath Mishra, a noted vocalist of the Banaras Gharana, trained under Pt. Vishwanath, Pt. Bade Ram Das, and Pt. Ganesh Prasad Mishra. An AIR empanelled artist in vocal and harmonium, he has received various accolades including the Sangeet Natak Akademi and Begum Akhtar Awards.
Pandit Ram Kumar Mishra, acclaimed tabla maestro of the Banaras Gharana, is the grandson of Pt. Anokhe Lal Mishra and son of Padma Vibhushan Pt. Chhannulal Mishra. A top-grade AIR and Doordarshan artist, he is a recipient of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award.
