Learn the fundamentals of Climate Change in this immersive hands-on collaborative workshop, based on the Climate Fresk methodology.

Rising temperatures, extreme weather, and sea-level rise threaten our food, water, and safety. Informed individuals can make sustainable choices, advocate for change, and hold leaders accountable. Learning about climate change empowers us to protect our planet, ensuring a healthier future for ourselves and generations to come.

What is Climate Fresk?

The Climate Fresk is a science-based workshop that aims to educate and raise awareness about climate change worldwide. Based on the IPCC report, it explains how and why the climate changes at the current pace and the consequences of its disruption. It gives participants the opportunity to learn a lot in a very short period of time for both novices and experts.

How it works:

The workshop is based on a 42-card game. Each card represents a topic, a cause or a consequence of climate change. As a team, guided by your facilitator, you are to find the cause-effect relationship between the different components of climate change. Collective intelligence will get you from one deck of cards to the next! This step-by-step collage provides keys to understand the complexity and develop a strong understanding of the science.

What is SYNC?

SYNC is a five-part social impact series that is supported by the SG Eco Fund, designed to engage all of Singapore public on different sustainability topics from a social impact perspective, in support of the Singapore Green Plan pillars.

We are building a community of people who are curious, concerned and want to contribute to making Singapore a more sustainable and climate aware society!

Step 1: Attend our free public workshops.

Our workshops are conducted by the team at The Transmutation Principle, our supporting partners and facilitated by our newly trained Sustainability champions who have taken the step to Pass It On after attending their first SYNC Workshop with us!

Step 2: Train to be a sustainability champion!

After the workshop, you can opt in for our train-the-trainer session to learn how to conduct your own workshops! Missed the training for this session? You can attend other series trainings as well!

Step 3: Facilitate your own workshop!

After attending our train-the-trainer sessions, you can go on to facilitate our community-driven workshops to create lasting impact in different communities across Singapore.

In this Community Workshop, get to learn from our SYNC Sustainability Champions and support our brave Champions who took the next step in becoming facilitators!

Please Note: If you’re interested to facilitate our future workshops, all interested candidates have to attend a 3hr training session conducted by The Transmutation Principle.
