Find out more about the origin, transformations and unique characteristics of the popular local snack Mian Jian Kueh (peanut pancake) through this public lecture by guest speaker Ming Wing Cheong, a food writer and former journalist with the Shin Min Daily and Lianhe Zaobao.

For the foodies, participants can use the opportunity to embark on a virtual tour of the various food places in Tanglin Halt and Queenstown too!

About the Speaker

Ming Wing Cheong is a media professional who wrote articles on China and Singapore current affairs, business and entrepreneurship, food and lifestyle, history and culture for the local newspapers. He is currently the assistant editor of the quarterly magazine Chinese Entrepreneur published by the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
