Participant:

Anyone is welcome. Children under six years old will need to be accompanied by an adult.


Duration and Meeting Place:

The tour will take about 1 hour.

Please arrive 5 minutes early. We will meet at the McDonald's take away in the Tampines Bus Interchange (on the right as you walk out of Tampines MRT station, Downtown Line, exit D).


Things to note:

  • Arrive 5 minutes before the tour starts.
  • Please wear light and comfortable shoes, as a lot of walking is required.
  • Please bring EZ-link card, cash or Credit Card, as bus rides will be taken during the walk.
  • It is important to bring water and insect repellant with you.
  • Photography is allowed on this walk.
  • The organiser reserves the right to deny participation to anyone who is disruptive or refuses to adhear to safety regulations.
  • No refund if participants failed to turn up.


Ticket sales will be used to cover the costs for the setup of the Tampines Community Archives setup. The community archive is a website which aims to preserve the history of the community in Tampines. You could also support this project by donating photo or document relating to Tampines.
