Made in China, assembled in the UK, distributed throughout the globe — that's how DJ Ken describes his musical journey, and it perfectly captures the international spirit that led him to Ibiza's shores over 18 years ago. What started as a young DJ spraying graffiti and running local raves in his hometown evolved into one of the most respected careers in electronic music.

Ken's Ibiza story began in the late '90s when Miss Moneypennys scouted him from the UK underground scene, catapulting him onto the international circuit. But it was Ibiza that truly called to him.

After years of touring globally and earning a nomination for Pioneers Best Breakthrough DJ in the House Music Awards, Ken made the life-changing decision in 2009 to move to the White Isle permanently.

Today, as resident DJ at the legendary Café del Mar, Ken has become synonymous with Ibiza's most iconic experience — playing to over 200 sunsets a year, crafting the perfect soundtrack for those magical golden hour moments that define the island. His deep understanding of how music flows with the natural rhythm of the day has made him indispensable, not just as a DJ but as music programmer and event manager for the venue.

Ken's journey through Ibiza's clubbing hierarchy reads like a who's who of legendary venues: Space Ibiza, Pacha, Privilege, Ibiza Underground — each residency adding layers to his musical DNA. His alter ego "El Chino" (a name given by DJ Sneak) has released tracks on Sneak's I'm A House Gangster label, with one track hitting number two on the Traxsource hype chart.

But Ken isn't just about the music — he's a vinyl aficionado and musical archaeologist, constantly digging for rare gems that tell stories of forgotten dancefloors. His releases on prestigious labels like Strictly Rhythm, Music for Dreams, and Buddha Bar showcase his ability to bridge the gap between underground credibility and sunset sophistication.

While Ken represents Ibiza's established guard, S/A/M embodies the island's evolving energy — a new generation artist who has quickly become essential to the White Isle's musical fabric.
