About this event

This health talk will introduce how TCM health care knowledge such as, acupoints, its indications and other wellness management techniques can help to alleviate the common symptoms faced by cancer patients as well as the side effects of western medicine treatments for cancer.

Family members can utilize the knowledge gained from the talk to help patients maintain physical strength, improve their immunity, and boost their stomach qi, to help the cancer patients on the road to recovery.

Speaker: Physician Song Yiqun , Registered TCM physician

  • Diploma of TCM, Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM),
  • Bachelor degree of MedicineHeng yang medical college (University of South China)

Physician Song has vast medical experience. She has been practicing as a western medical doctor for 11 years from 1984 to 1995 in Hu Nan, NingXiang City and Jiang Su, NanJing City. From 2003 till date, she has been practicing as a MOH registered TCM physician and acupuncturist in Singapore more than 20 years. She specializes in internal medicine, especially respiratory system diseases, digestive system diseases, pain management, TCM Geriatric, as well as supporting treatment therapy for cancer.

Please note that session is conducted in Chinese but the slides and Q&A will be presented in both Chinese and English.
