About the Speaker

Vidhi Singhal is a computer programmer, tech enthusiast mother of two. She is the author of the "Pre-coding for kids" book series. These activity books teach coding concepts to preschoolers in a fun and engaging way. She is also the founder of KinderKoder where she teaches computational thinking to children without increasing screen time.

She has always had keen interest in "Early Years Education". When she struggled to find good unplugged content for her son to encourage him to become a critical thinker, she decided to create her own. She spent years on research to put together a framework for teaching computational thinking to preschoolers. This is aligned with most international standards such as the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA, US), Computing at School (CAS, UK), Computing education framework (SG), Computer Masti (CMC, India) and Singapore's MOE recommendation.

Prior to Kinder Koder, she has worked in the corporate world for over 10 years with tech giants including Google and Facebook. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in both B.Tech and M.B.A. Vidhi’s Linkedin profile
