<p><strong>Date: 	21 January 2022 (Friday)</strong></p><p><strong>Time:	2.00pm – 4.30pm </strong></p><p><strong>Mode: Synchronous Virtual</strong></p><p>To enable participants to better interact and engage with the presenters, participants will need to access the pre-session online learning materials, which will be available from 14 Jan 2022. Presenters will then be able to adopt a more applied approach to the use of specific ICT tools and pedagogies for learning and teaching during their sessions on 21 Jan 2022. Our breakout sessions will touch on:  </p><ul><li>How to develop innovative teaching and learning strategies for borderless learning</li><li>Blended environments</li><li>Promoting student agency</li><li>Leveraging online platforms to induce positive change</li></ul>

<h2>Keynote</h2><p>Our keynote speaker is Dr. Paul Toprac (Ph.D. Learning Technologies). He is a Professor of Instruction at The University of Texas at Austin and is currently the Director of Game Development and Design Program, Director of Simulation and Game Applications Lab, and the Director of eXtended Reality Alliance. His keynote will touch on the following issues: </p><ul><li>What should future learning look like?</li><li>What are the essential skills required for students?</li><li>How should we use or model the use of technology in the classrooms to develop those skills in students?</li></ul>

<h2>Concurrent Sessions</h2><p>Some of the breakout sessions include developing innovative teaching and learning strategies for borderless learning, blended environments, promoting student agency, and leveraging online platforms to induce positive change. Please register with your school email address for verification purposes. A confirmation email will be sent to the participant once registration is done. </p><p>You may contact us at events@sst.edu.sg for further queries. </p>
