A Different Approach to Balance


Dear Wellness Seekers,

What if self-care wasn’t about pushing harder, fixing yourself, or constantly trying to “optimise”?

What if it was about understanding your natural tendencies — and learning how to support them?

In Five Element philosophy, none of us are ever perfectly balanced. We each have strengths, vulnerabilities, and patterns that show up in our energy, emotions, and physical body.


When we understand these patterns, we can:


• prevent burnout instead of recovering from it

• regulate stress more easily

• support circulation and detox naturally

• feel more grounded and emotionally steady

• move through challenges with resilience instead of force


This series invites you to explore the subtle landscapes of your inner world — your physical body, your emotional rhythms, and your energetic patterns — through the lens of the Five Elements: Water, Wood, Earth, Metal, and Fire.

Rather than pushing or optimizing, we focus on strengthening your internal foundation so you can move through life with resilience, steadiness, warmth, and clarity.

Each 2-hour session is dedicated to one element and designed as a restorative retreat for your body and mind.

What Makes This Series Unique?


Using the wisdom of the Five Elements as our map, we combine:


Elemental Tea Ritual Mindfully savour a curated tea chosen to harmonise with the element of the day, while learning how it supports your internal balance.


🧘‍♀️ Yin Meridian Yoga A slow, grounding sequence designed to open the meridians associated with the element — creating structural and energetic space.


💆‍♀️ Deep Lymphatic Self-Massage Simple, guided techniques to mobilise stagnant fluid, support detox pathways, calm the nervous system, and enhance circulation.

Together, these practices create a complete cycle of cleansing, nourishing, and revitalising your inner terrain.


You’ll leave each session with practical tools you can continue using at home.


The Elements & Themes


Each workshop is a stand-alone session, or you may join the full series for a deeper experience.

🌊 Water — Your Inner Reserve


1 April Wednesday 7.30 - 9.30pm


Water governs your deepest energy reserves — your resilience, willpower, and ability to rest.


This session is for you if you:

• Feel chronically tired or “running on empty”

• Struggle with anxiety or insecurity

• Experience lower back tension or cold extremities

• Push through exhaustion instead of resting

• Feel stuck in survival mode


You will:

• Learn how to restore and conserve energy

• Support adrenal and nervous system regulation

• Release deep tension in the lower back and legs

• Reconnect with steadiness and inner trust


🌲 Wood — Your First Line of Defence


18 April Saturday 3 - 5pm


Wood governs growth, direction, and emotional flow.


This session is for you if you:

• Feel stuck or frustrated

• Hold tension in your neck, jaw, or shoulders

• Experience PMS, headaches, or muscle tightness

• Have ideas but struggle to move forward

• Suppress anger or feel emotionally reactive


You will:

• Release fascia tension along the side of the body, head, feet

• Improve circulation and flexibility

• Learn techniques to regulate emotional build-up

• Reclaim momentum and direction

🌏 Earth — Your Engine & Provider


28 May Thursday 7.30 - 9.30pm


Earth governs digestion, stability, and emotional security.


This session is for you if you:

• Overthink or worry excessively

• Feel bloated, sluggish, or heavy

• Struggle with boundaries or overgiving

• Feel emotionally overwhelmed

• Need grounding and stability


You will:

• Support digestive circulation

• Learn abdominal self-massage techniques

• Strengthen emotional steadiness

• Build a stronger internal foundation

💎 Metal — Your Filter & Regulator


20 June Saturday 3-5pm

Metal governs breath, boundaries, and your ability to release tension and let go.


This session is for you if you:

• Feel stuck holding onto stress or past events

• Experience tight chest, shallow breathing, or upper body tension

• Struggle with boundaries

• Feel mentally cluttered


You will:

• Open the chest and improve your respiration

• Release shoulder and neck congestion

• Support detox pathways

• Move towards clarity and emotional lightness



🔥 Fire — Your Spirit & Connector


2 July Thursday 7.30 - 9.30pm


Fire governs connection, warmth, and emotional expression.


This session is for you if you:

• Feel emotionally overwhelmed or burnt out

• Struggle with sleep or anxiety

• Feel disconnected from joy

• Have difficulty expressing your feelings


You will:

• Regulate heart and circulation energy

• Release chest and jaw tension

• Calm the nervous system

• Awaken emotional warmth and expression


Who This Is For


This series is ideal if you:

• Feel physically tense or energetically stagnant

• Want a deeper understanding of your body beyond surface-level wellness

• Crave slower, more intentional self-care

• Are curious about Traditional Chinese Medicine principles

• Want practical tools to regulate stress and improve circulation

• Desire a calm, supportive space to reset


No prior experience in yoga or self-massage is required.

What to Bring


• Water bottle

• Small towel

• Comfortable clothing for movement

• Open neckline (for massage access when relevant)
