The Ant's March! A Nature Play Workshop

There are 2 paid workshop sessions conducted on 28 June (Saturday). The duration for each session is 1.5 hours.
Session #1: 11am to 1230pm
Session #2: 2pm to 330pm

Join us in this workshop to engage your child in wildlife-inspired activities to encourage nature-based play.

Step into the fascinating world of Wesley the weaver Ant in "The Ant's March," an outdoor adventure blending nature and art! Children will explore the lives of weaver ants, discovering their teamwork and intricate nests. Through outdoor exploration and a hands-on weaving activity, they’ll gather natural materials, exercise their creativity to create unique nests. Along the way, they’ll connect with nature, develop problem-solving skills, and uncover the wonders of the natural world. Get ready to weave some magic with Wesley and his ant friends!

Terms and Conditions

The purchase of tickets to this The Ant March Workshop (the “Workshop”) organised by Singapore Zoological Gardens (hereinafter referred to as “MWG”), is subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. This Workshop is open to all individuals using Eventbrite’s platform.

2. The recommended age to participate in the Workshop is 5 to 7 years old.

3. Your slot for the Workshop will only be confirmed upon successful payment of the Workshop’s fee and availability is on a first-come-first-served basis. Registration for the Workshop will be closed once all the slots for the Workshop are fully reserved.

4. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse the entry of any participant to the Workshop, including but not limited to unsafe, unruly or undesirable behaviour.

5. The Organisers reserve the right to alter, postpone the Workshop at any time at its sole and absolute discretion and without any prior notice to you.

6. By attending the Workshop, participants acknowledge that they may be, and are deemed to have given their consent to be photographed, filmed, videoed, or otherwise captured in image form, by the Organisers or any of its authorised representatives, for marketing and publicity purposes in print, electronic and social media.

7. All fees paid for the Workshop, including Eventbrite’s booking fees, are strictly non-refundable.

8. The tickets for the Workshop are non-transferable, not exchangeable, and not for resale under any circumstances.

9. All affected tickets will be considered void if they have been altered or duplicated.

10. The Organisers assume no responsibility and will not be held liable for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, delay, mishap, or damage to persons or property arising from any cause during the course of the Workshop or in transit thereto, by any participant of the Workshop or as a result of participating in the Workshop.

11. Save to the extent permitted by law, the Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organisers and/or the Organisers’ related corporations (as defined in Section 6 of the Companies Act 1967) (including parent companies), directors, officers, employees, agents or contractors (the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against all claims, demands, actions, judgments, damages, losses, costs, expenses, penalties and liabilities of any nature which the Organisers and/or the Indemnified Parties may suffer or incur for any death, injury, accidents, loss, or damage caused by any negligence, act or omission arising from or in connection with the participant’s participation in the Workshop. 12. The Organisers reserve the right to amend, vary and/or modify these terms and conditions, and/or the Workshop, at its sole and absolute discretion, at any time and without prior notice.

13. Any provision in these terms and conditions which is held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason by any court, governmental department, body or tribunal, or in any applicable jurisdiction shall be ineffective to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability and will not invalidate or render unenforceable the remaining unaffected provisions hereof and should any provision be held invalid or unenforceable in an applicable jurisdiction such provision shall not be invalidated or rendered unenforceable in any other jurisdiction.

14. By registering for the Workshop, you hereby agree to MWG’s Personal Data Protection Policy (found at https://www.mandai.com/en/saving-wildlife/our-policies/data-protection.html).

15. The Organisers’ decision on all matters relating to the Workshop and/or arising from these terms and conditions shall be final, conclusive and binding and no correspondence will be entertained.

16. Unless otherwise mentioned herein, these terms and conditions are not intended to confer rights to any third party under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001.

17. These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with laws of the Republic of Singapore and the courts of Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction in any case of dispute.

18. For the avoidance of doubt, by entering MWG’s public and ticketed areas, you are subject to MWG’s Park Tickets Terms and Conditions (found at https://www.mandai.com/en/park?terms.html), which is also displayed at the entrances of the Parks. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the terms and conditions hereof and our Park Tickets Terms and Conditions, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

19. By accessing and using Eventbrite’s platform to sign up for this Workshop, you signify that you have read and agree to Eventbrite’s policy and Terms of Service.

20. In the event of any cancellation of the Workshop, participants will be informed by no later than two (2) calendar days before the scheduled date of the Workshop
