The Art of Listening (Workshop) : 6pm - 7pm

Discover the deeper dimensions of music through this interactive workshop that blends sound, story, and sensibility. Guided by composer and guitarist Santanu Datta, participants will explore essential musical elements - melody, rhythm, harmony, texture, and timbre - while reflecting on how music shapes emotion, memory, and identity. Through carefully curated musical examples, historical perspectives, and live demonstrations, this session invites you to listen actively and mindfully - engaging with music not just as sound, but as an experience that captures every sense.

Soundscapes, Featuring Sakura Yamakawa (Concert) : 7 .30pm - 8.15pm

Join violinist Sakura Yamakawa and guitarist-composer Santanu Datta for an intimate evening of music that travels across time and tradition. From Bach to Brouwer, Gismonti to Piazzolla - and original compositions rooted in Bengali folk - this genre-blending programme explores lyrical beauty, rhythmic vitality, and cross cultural expression in a unique sonic journey.
